Given the positive business development in the first half of the year, DHL Group raised its earnings guidance for the full year 2026 on July 7 and now expects reported Group EBIT to exceed €6.5 billion (previously: more than €6.2 billion). The DHL divisions are projected to generate EBIT of more than €5.9 billion (previously: more than €5.6 billion). Unchanged, we continue to forecast EBIT of more than €0.9 billion for the Post & Parcel Germany division and of around €–0.4 billion for Group Functions.
In 2026, we aim to maintain capital expenditure in our strategic goals and further growth on a level with the previous year. We therefore plan for capital expenditure (excluding leases) to range between €3.0 billion and €3.3 billion, while focusing on the same areas as in previous years.
The ROIC is set to be driven by the positive development in EBIT and to at least match the prior-year level in 2026. We continue to expect for the fiscal year 2026 a free cash flow excluding acquisitions and divestitures of around €3.0 billion.
